The Cure philosophy remains consistent across the range. The 68GT takes each of its five principles further — combining lightweight carbon construction, sailor-focused design, comprehensive offshore systems, McConaghy expertise and an ownership package designed for ambitious voyages.

The Cure 68GT is built entirely in carbon, including the daggerboards, rudders, mast, longeron and crossbeam.
Reducing weight throughout the structure means less displacement to push through the water, lower loads throughout the rig and a more responsive, efficient boat under sail.

Understanding the Polar Diagram
The coloured curves represent predicted boat speed across different true wind speeds and sailing angles. The further each curve extends from the centre, the faster the boat is travelling in those conditions.
Look across the diagram rather than focusing on a single peak number. The shape of the curves shows how efficiently the boat performs as the wind moves from close-hauled through reaching to downwind sailing.
For a catamaran designed for ocean passages, the most interesting characteristic isn't necessarily its maximum speed. It's how much useful speed it can maintain across the conditions encountered on a real passage.

The Cure 68GT's sail plan is designed to extract performance from the yacht's lightweight carbon platform without creating unnecessary complexity for the crew.
The powerful mainsail provides the primary driving force, while the self-tacking jib contributes balance and pointing ability while keeping the foredeck clear and sail handling straightforward.
