Racing
Where weight, stiffness and reliability are measured in seconds.

It begins with over fifty years of experience building some of the world's most advanced racing yachts, superyachts and composite engineering projects. From America's Cup campaigns and Sydney to Hobart winners to pioneering carbon structures and specialist engineering, every Cure benefits from the same relentless pursuit of performance, precision and craftsmanship.
For more than five decades the company has continually challenged conventional thinking, developing new manufacturing techniques, refining composite engineering and building vessels that redefine what is possible on the water.
Every project has contributed to the knowledge, capability and craftsmanship that today underpins every Cure catamaran.

McConaghy were one of the first to apply prepreg carbon to sailing boat construction. Built using materials previously only seen in aerospace applications, McConaghy’s first 18ft prepreg carbon skiff was a revelation that would set a performance benchmark for years to come.
That same knowledge, experience and craftsmanship now form the foundation of every Cure catamaran.

Every Cure is built using advanced composite manufacturing techniques refined across decades of grand prix racing and specialist engineering. From precision mould preparation and resin infusion to structural engineering and rigorous quality control, every stage of construction is designed to produce a lighter, stronger and more efficient yacht.
The result is more than lower weight. It is greater structural stiffness, improved sailing efficiency, reduced loads throughout the yacht and exceptional long-term durability.
Performance is rarely determined by one major breakthrough. It is the result of thousands of carefully considered decisions.
Engineering, tooling, structural analysis, weight management, systems integration and manufacturing precision all work together to create yachts that perform exactly as intended. It is this philosophy that continues to distinguish McConaghy throughout the marine industry.

Behind every Cure is a team of naval architects, composite engineers, boatbuilders, rigging specialists and craftsmen who share a common pursuit of excellence.
Their combined experience spans racing yachts, superyachts, power catamarans, foiling craft and some of the world's most technically demanding composite projects.
McConaghy's capability has been developed across an unusually broad range of marine projects.
From high-performance racing yachts and America's Cup campaigns to superyachts, offshore multihulls, foiling craft, advanced carbon spars and deep-sea exploration, each project has demanded a different combination of materials, engineering and manufacturing expertise.
That breadth matters.
Because when you're building a performance cruising catamaran, the answer to a complex problem doesn't always come from conventional boatbuilding.
Sometimes it comes from racing.
Sometimes from aerospace-style composite engineering.
Sometimes from structural engineering, advanced manufacturing or the development of entirely new marine technologies.
That is the advantage of having all of those capabilities within the McConaghy Group.

Precision manufacturing developed through decades of high-performance construction.

MC1 Spars brings mast, boom, rigging and yacht design together under one roof.

From hydrogen foiling technology to new forms of electric propulsion, exploring what comes next.
Choosing a yacht is about far more than selecting a design. It's about trusting the people who build it.
Every Cure is constructed using the same composite expertise, engineering discipline and manufacturing capability developed across some of the world's most demanding marine projects. That experience is built into every hull, every structural component and every system from the very beginning.
Because exceptional performance isn't added at the end of the build. It's engineered into every layer.
The questions we're most often asked about McConaghy and why it matters.

“Long before a Cure touches the water, decades of experience have already been built into it.”
The difference is how far you want to take it.
